How does your game fit the theme?
This is a maze game, you have limited moves for each level, when you move, your move count decreases and if its 0 and you are still inside the maze, you have to replay that level.

I loved the art style, and the gameplay was easy to understand. I think it wouldn't hurt if the entire level was visible from the start so you can plot route, as others have said it being isometric makes it a little harder to figure out your directions. I didn't really like the jittery effect when the map moves, it makes it hard to play for a long time.
Either way I did have fun, well done!

Great Game. I loved the idea and the audio. But the isometric design tripped me up a lot. I wasted a lot moves cause I kept pressing the wrong key. Plus the isometric view also made the maze like layer on top of each other, so I couldn't figure if somewhere was a path or not. I think it was level 8. Also this last bit is going to be a bit nit picky, but the camera was very jittery. All in all, it was a fun game.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback:) I understood, I actually should have tested the levels by someone before uploading. And that camera, sorry for that. That's probably happening bcz pygame doesn't scale good on browsers :(

Very neat level design! Took me a while to get used to the controls, I wish I could see where the exit is in the beginning (maybe camera pans to it for a second or so before the level begins?), and the isometric view makes the shape of the maze rather confusing especially on level 8. I love the pixel art style and the music! Pretty well done, would be a very good game with some very minor tweaks :)

Developer

Thanks for your feedback:) I will be careful about similar things next time

I really like it but I gotta say that the isometric perspective is quite confusing I ended up wasting a lot of moves trying to go one way but going another bat I think that's just me not being used to isometric controls

I liked the way you made the moves as a connection to theme ‘countdown’

a coherent game! like the overall mood and even though the game is simple, the level design is well thought :D

Im happy u liked it :)

Adorable music and art! Most of the difficulty is with the controls, often I can't tell if the direction I want to go is up or left arrow when I want to go up and left. Congrats on submitting for the jam!  I wish you the best.

Finished all the puzzles! I feel like they could be a bit harder, and it would also be nice to be able to see where the exit is since sometimes it feels like I'm shooting in the dark, but overall the level design does a good job of guiding you there even without being able to see it and it's really well done, especially for being in pygame in a short time

Thanks for ur feedback back :) I will remember ur suggestion in my next games.

As stated before, its pretty SNES nostalgia feeling. Controls are a bit confusing because of the perspective. (Skill issue on me). I like the game though.

Im glad u liked it :)

I feel the strange nostalgia from this jungly isometric art. I can't articulate why, but it feels really nice. Great work! What were your inspirations?

Developer

Thanks for ur feedback. And my inspiration was an unreleased project by DaFluffyPotato called "BlightDrawn"

Fun concept and good puzzle progression!

The yellow creature moves like it is walking on an ice level. Check carefully your surrounding, especially since starting from level 5 to the end, the number of moves does not allow the player to make any mistake.

Quite a fun little puzzler. Not knowing were the exit was made me hesitate on where to go at times, but since you can just restart the level with R it wasn't a big issue, and I still managed to finish it ;)

Developer

Thanks for ur feedback, I really didn't have time to let anyone check the level designs... I was just hoping it to turn out good enough.

very cool game!! the isometric perspective and the way the camera moves + the shaking made me kinda dizzy so I didn`t really finish it.. it`s also really hard to see the exit and the paths in general which made it a little bit stressful rather than enjoyable, i wish you could see the whole map at all times. overall this was a great idea!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback, I understand and will be careful in my future games.  Although I can't help that shaking thing,  pygame doesn't scale good on browser.

Very cute!

The isometric perspective sometimes made the maze a bit  hard to see.

Made it to level 9!
