How does your game fit the theme?
Our game turns the Count Down into the core driver of panic. Players must escape an endless hallway before the timer expires, but can only keep their candle lit through a rhythmic left/right clicking balance mechanic. The countdown creates constant tension: spend time steadying your flame, or risk running through the dark as the clock ticks down to zero.

The art here is really nice! The lighting through the windows is especially atmospheric, good work!

I really like how you did the lighting, the environment and character look good. At first I thought the game was unwinnable because you are just too slow, but then I figured out you can sprint by holding shift.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and for the sweet compliments on the lighting and visuals ♥. First off, we owe you a massive apology; that’s totally on us for not making the control clear.

The character is so cute, I really wanted to punch the monster into oblivion! (lol) Even though the monster chasing me later on was only on screen for less than a second, its design was genuinely a bit terrifying! By the way, if I press the left and right keys back and forth in sync with the background ticking, I can keep the candle perfectly lit—I wonder if that was a neat little intentional design choice!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing our game! 💖 Wait... it actually syncs up with the ticking audio?! We literally booted up the game to test it ourselves, and oh my gosh, you’re totally right! You just discovered a secret trick even we didn't realize! Thanks a ton for sharing this with us!

I'm impressed that you managed to make something genuinely creepy in such a short space of time. Nice work!
I wasn't quite sure how to win though as the [SPOILER] got me even though I did as well as I could.

Thank you so much for playing our game and sharing your feedback! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the game.

About the win condition, you just need to keep running forward and survive until the end. We understand that it might not have been very clear, so thank you for pointing that out! We’ll definitely keep this feedback in mind and improve the experience in the future.

Thanks again for playing and supporting our game! We really appreciate it.
