Very cool game idea is so good. If you have a second, I’d super appreciate a rating back on my game The Last Light
Interisting idea! but i wish there was some intense music or smth, also it was pretty difficult to figure out what to do, nevertheless the controls are simple (mouse only)
Love the voxel-art! I'm having a hard time figuring things out and i have to reload the game every time i want to restart, but it's running real smooth and i'm enjoying it. The HUD is really neat and the whole art direction is pretty coherent and aesthetically pleasing.
Thanks for the feedback. The bug preventing a restart appeared right at the end of development, so I missed it. I consider it my biggest oversight now. In any case, I hope you had a good time. Good luck!
I'm a massive fan of the 2.5D perspective, the sense of urgency is very well done too :)
I have to admit, the pixel art in this game feels like a great choice, too. As for the gameplay, nailing the timing was tricky during development, but I’m glad I got it right. Thanx for the comment!
Really cool art. The wife is made of paper though, no idea why she dies from literally everything. The game could definitely use some tense music, it feels empty without it. Also the layout reminded me of the house from Neighbours from Hell
Thanks for the feedback; *Neighbours from Hell* really did serve as a reference for the game. It’s true that the sound design is lacking. In any case, I hope it was an enjoyable experience!
It was fun! Maybe adding music would make it feel more complete. I love the 3D pixel art and the perspective!
Thanks for the message. I’m undecided between music and standard ambient audio, but the game is definitely sorely lacking in sound. I’m thinking about creating a post-jam version to address all the mistakes and shortcomings caused by the time constraints. In any case, thanx for the feedback!
it was cool, but I think it would have been nice to have some sort of tutorial as it took me a while to really understand what was going on. after I figured out how to play it was really fun. I also liked the 3d art
Actually, I initially planned to make object highlighting more obvious so players could quickly see what actions were expected, but the lack of it ended up making the game more challenging. Integrating a tutorial would have been difficult—and it feels unnecessary anyway, since the game is essentially based on trial and error and expects the player to die a few times. In any case, you’re focusing on the right things. Thanks for the comment; I hope you had a good time!
I did thanks
The pixel art is so well done! Me and my wife died in the flood and then to Wardrobe. So tragic. BTW, I couldn't restart the game so I had to reload/refresh every time I wanted to play again. Fun premise though! I did play a couple of times, and got better every time. Me and my wife are free to make a new life now :D
I’m really glad to read your kind words. Unfortunately, I missed the bug that prevented restarting in the web build. Nevertheless, I’m very happy you had a good time. Thanks for the feedback!
