An enjoyable puzzle game with a great gameboy visual design! Played through the whole game & enjoyed how quick it was to understand and get the flow on how the mechanics for it work.

Great puzzle game! I like the art style and music! Nice puzzles!

If you have free time please check my game out too :)

So glad you liked it! Thanks for playing :)

You're welcome :)

Oh hell yeah, gimme the block based puzzle games. Love the idea, only things I'd nitpick would be some control things, specifically having to walk around the block to grab the result of my equation.

Thanks so much for playing! And yeah looking back it's a bit of an arbitrary restriction; initially I was gonna have blocked off paths that relied upon that, but it never ended up coming to fruition.

That is such a fun and clever mechanic. Nicely explored in the level design too. Some of the levels had me stumped for embarassingly long. Love the little robot dude too, and the way he hugs the numbers when picking them up. The colour palette is also nice, fitting and consistent. I prefer the clean look without the shader.

Also, high-five for being another math-based game!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! I absolutely love the little guy he's so adorable :). And yeah while I prefer the shader I know it's not everyone's cup of tea which is why I added the toggle!

a good puzzle game with graphics that look like a Nintendo GameBoy game! respect

Thanks so much for playing! I was a little worried that the art style would be too constricting but I'm really happy with how they all came out :)

Lovely! Really good feel, love the sound and animation when you pick stuff up. Frankly I've been so used to games on a tight countdown clock I was speedrunning multiple levels before realizing I had all the time in the world. I can see how you could make a lot of cool puzzles from this, or even add challenges like limiting the number of operations etc. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! The more feedback I get the more interested I am in revisiting this concept in the future there really is so much more puzzles I could do :)

Wow that was really cool. I wish there were more levels, because the puzzles really started to get good. I love that breaking the game is how you win as well. The visuals and audio is on point, but you know that already. Overall, really fun game!!!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! I wish I could have done more but I was already racking my brain for the 8 puzzles I did make!

this game is my JAM! There is some really smart design in here, I really liked it!

I liked the idea and all the levels! Very simple to grasp, but still requires to think! The ending was funny and surprisingly logical :D

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! I had the idea for the ending right at the start of my planning phase and knew I had to include it XD

What a novel concept for the countdown theme. The puzzles are at an excellent difficulty with perfect scaling. Only issue IMO is the intensity of the CRT shader but that's very monitor dependent. Excellent game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah the shader could be a bit much for it especially on lower resolutions but there's a "shader" button to toggle it on and off, sorry if that wasn't obvious :(

I looooveeeee this little game, I got so into it that I want more haha. The music is great, moving the little robot along with it felt nice.

Aww thanks so much!! It came out way better than I was expecting :)

Very cool! Easy to understand, fun to play, and clever mechanics! I really liked the retro art style and sounds as well.

One tiny nitpick: grabbing / releasing a number blocks the input while it's happening and takes just a little too long for my taste. It through me off the rhythm a bit and made the game feel slower than needed.

Other than that I just want more content, great job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for playing! And you should've seen my original build of the game, believe it or not the pickup speed is significantly faster in this one than when I started XD

Thought it was quite fun to play around with some of the levels confused my brain as i dont like to think visual with math but overall quite fun and really creative. as a solo developed game i think you did great. if you had 3-4 i would expect more but you didn't!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for playing :) speaking for how much I managed to get done I'm still impressed I got as much done as I did!

Why is moving the robot to the music so fun. The game took me a lot longer to beat than it should have because of that.

Awesome work, really creative concept

Thanks so much for playing! I'm so happy with how the little guy turned out he's so adorable :)
