The shadows to block things outside of the players vision is really cool!

I like the game! It reminded me of that one zombies web game I remember playing a while back... can't remember the name though.

Very fun! I enjoyed the music and fun loop with the day cycles.

the audio really sets the tune and atmosphere of the game, it's great! i found the enemies a bit too quick for my skills haha but enjoyed playing nontheless :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. One of the things I didn't have time for was different game modes, so I'll be sure to add and Easy and Hard mode in the future

Cool game! I like the pixel art and the lighting effect is really cool. I'm also curious if you did procedural generation or if the map was designed. Gameplay wise, it was hard for me to survive the first night because the frame rate dropped pretty low and there was a massive stream of zombies flooding my house. Good game overall though!

Developer(+1)

Yes I did use procedural generation! I used Perlin noise for the terrain and generated the stuctures at random locations (the structures were hand made though). Also yes the frame rate is terrible because my pathfinding algorithm sucked, and it couldn't handle the massive stream of zombies during the night

A cool vibe with some awesome music! The title track is especially a bop. You created a really tense atmosphere and strange world to explore that I never found the end of! It's quite difficult and little clunky, but I enjoyed it. Please excuse me, I am going to try to find the end of the map now.

I don't think there's an end... But I survived 5 night cycles!

Developer(+1)

Haha good luck with that, the map is infinite and procedurally generated (similar to Minecraft). Thanks for the compliment, I made the music myself!

Made me think of project zomboid, but this time I can read all my stats easily! Fun game, but I died a few times while managing my inventory, I think it missed a bit of downtimes

Developer

Thanks! Project Zomboid is one of my favorite games

Bro the lighting is soooo good!! I love the style!! did you make the game in a custom game engine?

Developer(+1)

Nope, I rawdogged it in just HTML and JavaScript. The lighting is calculated using a simple raycasting function for the block grid

Developer

Wow this is so cool
