Just realized that in a way this is a very similar game loop to my own submission. Makes sense why I liked it lol

Super simple concepts, but I really enjoyed it! The upgrades felt rewarding and well paced. I wish there was a way to keep some money for future runs, it felt like I was wasting my time in shorter runs.

It's a fun lil game to play! I won't lie, I was a little thrown off with the brush, it took me a few minutes to realize I needed to click instead of just hover my mouse over the rocks. You should add some music in the background! Or just audio of any kind to help give ambience, whether it's the rustling of grass, or some vampire-esque music. Or something cutesy that plays a cartoon slipping sound when he falls.

thank you for playing! I did want to add sfx but I didn’t have time

Very fun but extremely frustrating, I'd get to 1sec left and the old man would pull a 180 and charge at a rock to crack his head smh great game 10/10

if i say it's a feature do I get a pass 🙏🙏🙏

That is exactly how it works

The count is entertaining/frustrating with his scattered walking! You've made him a loveable klutz. I liked the pixel art and character design.

If you have a few minutes- feel free to try out my game entry :)

Great first game! good job. i think the brush could use some tweaking, i was having issues making contact with any of the rocks with the brush, but overall a nice experience!

Developer

thank you! I’ll try to look into that brush thing

The concept is creative! It has the potential to be one of those endless games where you need to keep the count going for as long as possible, maybe with checkpoints or a bigger purpose in the future.

Developer

thanks!
