Very fun, I really liked the resource management part. I died like 3 or 4 times because would spend all my time in the shop, or because I had no bullets and gave away the sword by mistake. That's when I realised I had to be more mindful with bullets and time. I really enjoyed playing, good job!

Developer

I'm glad you had fun! Thanks for playing :)

Fun game, really enjoyed the mechanic of spending time to get upgrades, though i found it pretty hard to be up enough time to buy a decent upgrade, which often made me struggle more on the next stage, so I think enemies rewarding a little bit more time would be nice. Cool stuff though, really liked spamming the knife into swarms of skeletons.

Thank you! I'm glad you had fun :) I know the balancing is a bit off. We need to fine-tune it later on.

Cool twin stick shooter with upgrade paths! Love the music/aesthetic. Good stuff!

Developer

Thank you :D I'm happy you liked the game. I love the music too and I'm really thankful of SkechyLogic for  sharing it on opengameart for free.

First run i played I bought a shotgun that replaced my sword and died because I run out of bullets and didn't have anything left to defend myself lmao. Nice idea, I like a rogue like where you trade in your time left for upgrades. I wish the shop was a bit cheaper, there were some rounds that I've straight up couldn't buy anything because I didn't have enough time. Or maybe I am just bad at the game. In my best run I reached wave four, there was a boss!.

Anyways, nice work ^^

Thanks! I'm glad you had fun playing our game. I know the balancing is bit off as the first waves are too hard and later waves (10+) become way too easy as the guns get way too powerful by then. And good job on reaching the bos wave :D

Pretty nice game! Definitely refines me of old flash games and a little old game called gamba gun,  and it makes me nostalgic! Has a lot of juice, solid game I would play it in class xd

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you, I'm happy you liked the game! Saying that our game reminds you of the old flash games is such a big compliment to me. I loved the feeling of those old flash games. By the way I searched for gamba gun and the only thing I found was a fairly new game released on 2025. Is that the game you were referring to?

Edit: I forgot to mention, people playing my game in class is like a dream to me. It was so nice of you to say that thanks!

yes! it is, i was stuck for an example but it did really remind me of that, twas the first thing that came to mind lol! But the artstyle specifically and the genre brings back nostalgic vibes

This game is fun! But it does lack some juice. Ammo depleted quick quickly because im bad at managing money. I wish there was a bit more to the narrative but other than that it is a solid game. Great game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing our game! Yes you're correct about the game lacking juice. Unfortunately we couldn't add more juice because of the lack of time. But I'd love to add a lot of juice if we decide to work more on the game later on.

I don't think I'm very good at managing my time. At least I found that out after playing this game!
It was fun and I enjoyed playing it.
I just wish the enemies spawned faster so I wouldn't lose a few seconds at the beginning of each wave.

Developer(+1)

Don't worry you'll eventually get better at managing your time(at least I hope so). Thanks for playing our game. I'm glad you had fun! :)

This was so fun! Most I've played an entry so far, I really like the idea of selling time, and I'm glad you can earn time during the wave itself because I was pretty greedy

Developer(+1)

I'm happy you enjoyed our game! I too am very greedy and when playing I usually start waves with 2-3 seconds left in hopes that I can manage to kill an enemy in under 2 seconds 😂

Played this game for a solid 20 minutes, it's really fun to play. I wish there was some kind of dash that you could use (maybe it also uses time) to spice up the movement. The enemies don't really do much if you just move, could make it a bit more interesting if enemies moved side to side or something or had a dash(IDK). It would als be cool if you could shoot the bomb enemies and that those take out other enemies when exploding (If this is already the case, then the blast range should be bigger). Ammo got used up a little fast but maybe that's just me being bad. Would love to see a more polished version of this! :D

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! Your ideas are  pretty good ones. In fact we actually wanted to add some extra items at first that could spice things up a bit (like an item that lets you dash) but we decided not to do that as we didn't have enough time for it. If we make a more polished version later( and we probably will!) we could use your ideas. Thanks!

I had so much fun playing the game. Great Game :)

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked our game. I also played your game and it was fun to see you had the same idea as us about time being currency!
