Cool Game, and the polish 👌👌

I really enjoyed this game! It has a lot of potential, and you can clearly see the amount of polish and effort put into it. Everything works smoothly, the gameplay feels solid, and the art style is amazing

and the game fits the game jam theme perfectly.

One thing I noticed is that the game doesn't have any sound. I'm not sure if this was a technical issue or if sounds weren't added yet.

Another thing I felt was that the game could benefit from a clearer goal or purpose. Maybe I missed something, but I wasn't fully sure what the player was trying to achieve. Having a stronger objective, like reaching a specific place, completing a mission, or accomplishing something meaningful, would make the gameplay much more engaging.

The time-based mechanic is interesting, but I don't think the best time/lifetime score alone is a strong enough motivation for players. With a clear goal and a bit more direction, I think this could become a really great full game.

Overall, I really love what you created. This project has a lot of potential, and I would love to see where you take it next. Keep going!

Thank you for the feedback! I ran out of time to add sounds sadly. Totally agree on it needing a goal or a narrative to progress!

I’m not lying that you overscoped as you said, but upon playing this, I think you have a massive potential to bank on this concept and game loop of yours. I suggest continuing it until you have a decent experience post-jam.

It’s part survival and part “extraction shooter” without the shooter part, but I can imagine being desperate for supplies when the portal is about to close and yet the thing you want is blocked by something you have to kill, and you’re not prepared for it, and so you go hungry the next day.

Gosh I want to play more of it.

Thank you for playing, that scenario sounds like a cool idea!
