How does your game fit the theme?
In Melting Step, the traditional "countdown" is transformed from a passive timer into a dynamic physical mechanic. Instead of a digital clock ticking down on screen, your character's physical height is your countdown. Every step or movement causes your ice block to melt and lose height.

Solid mechanics, I wish I knew when a moving platform would move, overall though I think its a game with a lot of puzzle potential!

Cute game with solid mechanics!

Very cool idea, I can imagine so many puzzles coming out of it! Are there multiple solutions to levels?

Very challenging level design! I was stuck on Level 2 for a long time before realizing the platforms move. The visuals are rich and detailed, and the sound design is quite interesting. Good job.

I have to say its perfect for all the art and the gameplay well done my friend (/・ω・)/really coooool

This hand-drawn art style combined with kitchen elements like a refrigerator and ice cups looks very cozy, and the gameplay has a lot of room to explore. Some levels even support multiple solutions. But there are too few levels, so when I was really into it, it just ended. It would be better if more mechanics and levels were added, and if some of the more abrupt level transitions were handled better.(ᗜˬᗜ)

Finished all the levels, was really enjoyable, level 2 I was wondering a bit on what to do and because of just waiting a while I saw the platform moving, then I was like "aaaah" - not sure if I missed a popup explaining it moves. But overall this was nice to play thank you!

I love the concept! And the art is super nice to look at!

For some reason everything is strangely cropped though. Even the main menu

First up the art is dope, like overall it looks very professional and polished. I also liked the idea despite it took me some time to wrap my head around it. Overall  i enjoyed it a lot, though the moving thingy in level 2 is kinda confusing, cuz it takes to long before it starts to move i think :)

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're super happy you liked the art and the core mechanics! 🧊✨
Really appreciate the feedback on Level 2 as well—we'll keep that in mind for future updates/polishing. Thanks for playing!
