I enjoyed playing the game and I like all the levels you have in it. I probably could be better at controlling it but I did improve during my game time. Nice work!
A very pleasant movement
Super cool idea! I don't think I've ever seen a game that uses momentum in this way!
The game is nice, the movement felt floaty, the idea is innovative
Any suggestions to make it feel less floaty that I can make after the Jam is over? I was considering putting a drag / friction mechanic to make it so the player actually came to a stop after long enough without input, but it changed the bullet speed mechanics in a way I didn't like, so I scrapped it.
The mechanic of your momentum transferring to the bullets is really clever. It could use a bit of polish and probably a tutorial, but it's really cool, could totally see that mechanic being in a bigger game. Solid game, just needs a bit of work.
Thanks for the feedback! This is actually a game I'm considering making more in depth after the jam. I enjoy the mechanics, but I will admit creating ten unique levels within a couple of hours that don't feel like the exact same thing was a little difficult after playtesting the base mechanics. In fact, I was thinking of making those first levels part of a tutorial and then making more fleshed out, in depth levels.
I really like the concept of transferring momentum to bullets! I've never really seen someone use that as a mechanic before.
Thanks! That means a lot!
