dives some vibes. lack of sound really gives some tension.

locations are nicely done.

This game is beautiful, I really love the vibes, it’s kinda of sad, speciall the ending, but the feeling is beautifully conveyed. 2 small issues:

  1. it’s a bit annoying that I can skip text with space bar but can’t select options with the same key, I’d sugest that you drop forcing to press enter.
  2. this game could really use some music and SFX to really amplify feelings and situations.

Overall a beautiful and sweet game. Congrats!

Beautifully tragic piece. Got attached to the characters in the short time I played, so this was really well done! :3

The paintings were so lovely! They do such a great job evoking a peaceful and nostalgic mood. The narrative was also a highlight but quite sad.

So beautiful! Congrats on all the artists for this one, I'm especially fond of the 2D panorama (I'm a big fan of impressionism and those panels just hit that spot!). I was charmed by the poetic dialogs as well!. I guess there some bugs remaining (see image below haha) and I would have loved to see all the pictures we took at the end, but a great entry nonetheless. Lots of big stars for you!

Oops image didn't upload, but it's a box that basically says "INSERT sky DIALOGUE" haha

We're so glad it was still so enjoyable despite the missing dialogue! We couldn't get all of it done unfortunately, we pivoted to this idea with under 24 hours left in the jam so you're literally seeing the placeholder where I was going to write the dialogue lol

Great narrative. The artwork was amazing and I loved the immersive storyline! Not sure what the purpose of the polaroids was in the end but it was engaging during the scenes.

Developer

We're so glad you liked the narrative and artwork!

Re: Polaroids - They influence what you talk about/how the break-up goes (e.g., if you choose to remember negative stuff, you say meaner things. There are 4 different types of sentiments that can colour the final conversation), but unfortunately we didn't have enough playtesting time to make that system feel noticeable and work as intended. The different outcomes are still there, but admittedly too hard to achieve/notice.

Ah that makes sense!

What a beautiful story. And sad. But I really enjoyed the writing. Well done! Also those paintings are amazing! Wish there was some audio / music to it. This would be so much better with voice acting

Amazing artwork, fun exploring the memories of each location. I enjoyed this a lot!

I like that I;ve never been in a relationship and able to experience breakup first!

Glad to see a game using Yarn Spinner in this jam, great tool. Like the pieces of story from each place, feels authentic. Would love to have different dialogue based on the subject of the photos!

Developer

Yeah we would love to fill in those dialogue options after the jam and lay more groundwork for the ending. I agree yarn spinner is great, I've never used it before and it was really intuitive for someone with minimal coding experience

The ending hurt. The visuals were amazing and GG for making a good narrative game in such a short time.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game and feeling the pain! Our 2D artist did a fantastic job, you should see his work when we give him more than 24 hours (we started on this idea that late in the jam)

Where can I find his art ?

I'm really impressed at how you managed to use the theme to make a visual novel. The ending kinda hit me out of nowhere.

Developer

We want the ending to hit hard, but we also want it to feel earned. It's definitely something we'll be working on after the jam. Thanks for playing!
