The art style looks really good! The game really would have benefited from some sound effects when you hit enemies, but obviously it's really tough to pull off a good feeling 3d combat system in 4 days. I also really liked the flashy attack animations and overall atmosphere.
Level art is actually impressive. Also, character and enemy meshes look good and detailed too, I could not expect so much from a jam game!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to progress beyond the cemetry. I guess I missed some kind of a trigger box or a teleport object, because there were no enemies and nowhere to go. I tried going back and forth around the entire map, but still couldn't find anything.
The combat is meh, but I know from experience that it is impossible to make a good hack-and-slash combat in just 4 days, so cudos for trying!
I got a bit further than the last reviewer (ran and jumped a bit, got to the first enemy) before it crashed and now can't get past main menu. but clearly a very ambitious game with multiple enemy types, if you keep working to get it reliable, please let me know and I'll come back to try it! Please give our game a try too. :)
I only saw a black screen when I went to play. Sound was working nicely though and sounded nice!
