I had a lot of fun playing this game, and can easily see it becoming a game I'd come back to repeatedly. Awesome submission! :D

It'll be playable in our page but we won't share the source. We may take it to the next level and take it to the production stage in the future.

Very clean arcade design! The orbital rope mechanic creates a great risk-versus-reward tension while drifting close to the lethal outer wall, and the radar-inspired UI looks great and readable. Overall, I had a really good experience. I personally found it a bit tough to maintain control at times, but when it clicked, it felt very satisfying.
Congrats on the project and on putting together such a polished concept for the jam! Keep polishing this gem!
thats a great idea will follow to see devolpment in the future. At first i thought the steering is not "instant" enough after my third playthrough i adjusted had some fun.
thanks for riding with us :) it's a bit on the "invest some time to get used to" side I totally agree. But it was kinda what we're trying to achieve with the TAUT.
We tried to implement an arcade-ish physics for our riders to decide if they want to deep in or drift out. I totally get what you said with the "steering". Which is basically not there but we'd love to improve the feeling in the future!
Thanks for lovely feedback!
A great and simple game, but it requires concentration. I think I'd improve if there was a way to dodge like small engins on the sides that make you to jump between layers and require time to refuel. Anyway, it's a good game, and I really enjoyed it.
Thank you for the feedback A7med! You're exactly right the game needs concentration since it's a bit on the hardcore side if you wish to get some real high scores. We might change alittle bit of the ingame spawnrates and how they effect the game after the jam. Engines actually doesn't make you jump inbetween the lanes but makes you faster permanently for th e rest of the run.
But obviously it's the only mechanic in the game that makes it harder and harder when you collect it continuously. Maybe we might do some hotfixes to get some different events/pickups on the TAUT.
This game is so much fun and addicting, all the component like Design, sfx, music, visual, just like matching together very well, Good Job!
woah super fun game loop :) how you managed to pack so many features in in one week i cannot fathom!
the graphics are so cool, and the integrated leaderboard is a nice touch
Thank you so much giving it a try and riding with us! It was quite intense workload especially in the last 2 days :) We tried a less featured version as the first prototype with only Coolants, Fuel, Engine, Overhaul and Debris but it was not quite there in manner of characteristics and being easy to learn but hardcore/hard to master side that we wished TAUT to have.
Last 2 days were mainly focused on ingame balances and the implementing of the Fire Ring and the Oil Slick to make but we got some feedbacks from the Hall Of Fame players that it was worth it :)
As you do, we love leaderboards in this genre too! Thanks for the lovely feedback and kind words!
Ah man this game gave me a funny. I absolutely love how it just SNAPS. Very hard to control, good stuff. Nice game.

Nice game, I was able to get 15253, also nice mechanics.
Thanks for the feedback and that's really great you had fun playing it.
Regards to the feedback on "the reel being unresponsive", actually that was the whole point of the game :) We tried to create a unique physics for the TAUT that's based on real physics till some point. All on centripetal force with some arcade touches on it.
Thank you so much!
