How does your game fit the theme?
T-20 Days to Rescue is built around two countdown systems. First, players have only two minutes to collect useful supplies before the flood destroys their home. After reaching the rooftop, the second countdown begins. Players must survive for 20 days while managing limited resources and waiting for rescue. The countdown is not only a timer, but the core mechanic that drives player decisions and survival.

Liked the part where I had to survive on the roof. Had to question what all I had to bring up!

It looks very similar to 60 Seconds! It’s a independent game that I really enjoy. I have carefully completed a full playthrough of the game. The gameplay is very well-designed, and the use of various elements is quite natural. The entire experience was smooth, making this a truly excellent work from this Jam. But my computer cooling fan is quite noisy. Do you know what’s causing that? lol.

Developer

Thank you so much for your reply! I actually made this game with 60 Seconds! as my main inspiration. Maybe the computer fan had to run at full speed because it’s a 3D game, haha.

Obvious clone of 60 seconds, but it was refreshing to finally find a jam submission that has audio and instructions! Once the days started, not sure what happened but I can no move or interact with items, nothing is working. So had to quit after 2 minutes :/

Exactly, bro! I made this game based on 60 Seconds!

Once the rooftop scene begins, you can only interact with the game by pressing Tab to open the journal. You cannot move around or interact with objects during that section. I probably didn’t explain this clearly enough in the tutorial for that scene. My bad.

i enjoyed the presence of apple addicted aliens !!! The collecting supplies part of the game feels a bit frustrating due to the low speed of the character but really cool game tho !!! (and cute menu c:)

Thank you for the compliment!

That was a Really cool game!

first of all, I Played two runs: one made it to Day 13 and the Second to Day 6.

The main idea is really cool since it works really well with this theme.
I liked how you had to manage your time in the first Part and consider which items might me Useful.
But what i really liked was the Second Part: Every Day came with decisions to make, where you had to think about what would benefit you the most. However, i didnt really understand what choices I really had, and how my Items were connected to them (but i could just have misunderstood something or I had a Skill Issue).

what i also liked is the Variety of the Second part: Even if the Items you may have are very similar between runs, the different events make every run feel different, so this also has a replayabillity aspect to it.

The Art and Music fit the Game well too.

Well Done!

Thank you for the compliment!

I was indeed short on time, so I didn’t make the connection between the choices and the events clear enough in the journal section of the second part.

The lovely main menu convinced me to download it. I'm not sure if i managed to get to the end, because on the last day the jounal says I ran out of water. Playing it gave me kind of a depressing feeling as intended i assume.

Sorry about the depression. I’d suggest waiting until you’re almost dying of thirst or starvation before eating or drinking. That way, you’ll be able to survive a little longer.
