How does your game fit the theme?
There is a countdown telling you how long you have before the next time loop and you take damage by having your countdown go down. There are also multiple puzzles based around the time you have.

Very cute game! I think the player speed was kinda low, but the art is cute and the narrative is fun. I wonder, how did you code this? It doesn't look like any game engine I know

We used pygame and then pybag to package it for browser. The slow movement speed might probably definitely be because we did a slight skill issue and made the movement speed framerate dependant. At least I know you played on a laptop now!

I like the variety of the puzzles required for the four switches, especially with the right-side switch requiring multiple loops, taking advantage of the fact that things don't reset. I also like the narrative justification that it is just you who is stuck in a time loop, so the time machine is resetting your state (apart from your memories) instead of actually taking you back in time.

The lower walls seemed sticky for some reason, though. I wonder if somehow, the foreground tiles used for the 3D effect affected collision in some way.

I don't see how the 3D effect would affect collision, but I'll look into it and see what the problem is. The collision system is a bit rushed, so downwards movement definitely could have a bug. Glad you enjoyed the game despite the issue!

The art is cute!

I couldn't find the fourth lever though :( But I liked dodging the bullets and homming rockets!

For anyone else with this issue there are 2 at the bottom, 1 at the right, and 1 at the left.

Thanks for playing our game! (It looks way nicer when you replace .  with !)

Fun game with interesting room challenges! The rockets and turrets were pretty tough to deal with. I really enjoyed the story.

Thanks! The game speed got messed up when we made it run in browser so the new difficulty wasn't properly tested. Glad you enjoyed regardless!

The audio got messed up when we made it work in browser, so apologies for the low audio quality.
