How does your game fit the theme?
The game incorporates a clock that counts down, and a button the player clicks that also counts down the amount of time it adds back to the clock, inevitbly forcing the player into a count down

This is a really bland idea by just adding only one unique feature towards the game jam theme, maybe next time try brainstorming a bit and add cool ideas to your project.

This should of been a single screen button since all I had to do is click fast.  I wanted to explore, but couldn't find the time to do so.  I was able to explore some of it, but not all, I wish that there were more buttons in the world that added time to the timer so you could explore and keep exploring.  I think this game would run far better if it had a download file to it as well.  Other than that... My fingers hurt... Sorry to be Gorge Jetson....

Featured on today's livestream!!

I was a little confused with the entire world of the game if the objective was just to click fast. It would have been interesting to have a way to increase how much time you gain when pressing the button (maybe there is and I didn't see it?), but it's a good start!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The mechanic is that inevitably, you will run out of time, but if you can Ballance your button mashing without exceeding the timer cap, you can survive a decent amount of time. And youre forced into a suspenseful count down at the end

Though I know the point was to get the best time, I think I enjoyed running around in the level more lol. I was trying to explore the whole area before the timer could run out and spamming it at the start, pretty fun even if that wasn't intended. Maybe you could incorporate that

Developer

That was exactly the gameplay loop in was testing. We're adding collectables into the level as soon as game jam ends

Developer

That's honestly been the way I enjoyed the game loop too. We're introducing collectables at the end of the game jam to make it more exciting

I wonder what the idea was behind making an explorable level? Maybe there could be multiple timers that when you're unable to get the starter timer to go up fast enough you can go out and explore to find more timers to increase your time?

Developer

Thanks for playing our game!

TBH, "explorable" was supposed to a single room, but this interior asset was just so clean, The idea of introducing collectables did cross our mind, maybe we'll add it in a future iteration. What was your best time

I hit 103 I think? maybe 105

Developer

TBH the explorable level was simply an interior asset we found online. We wanted to create something of an environment into the game.

After all the player feedback during the game jam. We're introducing collectables at the end of the game jam

Camera is bad, the game isn't really nice because it is just one button and the whole game is just a countdown, what is happening is not clear. There is no narrative.

Developer

Thanks for playing our game!

How do you mean the camera is bad?

That's kind of the point of a clicker no? How fast can you spam the mouse? What was your best time?
