There is a timer that is counting down the time left to escape the world that is being erased. if you fail to reach the gate in time before the count down ends, you are erased for an eternity.

Good job with The Last Page! The idea fits the jam theme nicely. I liked the look of the game and how it set the mood.
Beautiful artstyle and SFX, took me a few attempts to make it to the gate though, there doesn't seem to be any guidance on where it actually is so I had to just wander around until I found it. I like how you can interact with a bunch of little things
I love the art style! The scale of the world is impressive, but it makes the gate quite difficult to find.

I really love how rich the world is and that you can even interact with little things, enter houses, go up a lookout post, look at ducks in a pond and then swim. The time running out signalized by the world disappearing before your eyes is also a great idea.
There is something grimly funny and beautiful about making your way to a ligthhouse your whole journey, just for it to lose texture and disappear right before you get to it. Then, you can only watch the world end, because your journey is over.
I really like the scratchy sound when I run, but the view was a bit hard to control for me. Great ark style though!
I like the stickman art direction! This game makes me think of childhood memories or old minecraft worlds that just get deleted over time.
But finding that page though in a big world without a clear direction is kind of looking for a needle in a haystack. I wish there was some guidance for finding the exit.
