Nice game with great enviorment reminds me of something I dont know lol but the audio and the sprite art is fantastic!
The sprite art and beast-punching have way more charm than I expected—bonking forest creatures to protect a tiny flame feels oddly heroic. The first lantern blast made my PC briefly contemplate the afterlife, then it ran smoothly. I had no audio on my side, but the Over the Garden Wall mood still came through.
I feel so happy reading this. I think that is all that we cold deliver at time, and you got it all.
Cute game! LOVE the art, punching the beasts feels satisfying too! Game lags heavy on my computer when you first send out a fire blast from the lantern, but other than that smooth as butter. Very fun!
Thank you so much for the review! Yeah, it lags like shit the first time the particle effects are used, this isn't the first game where we've had that problem. Actually, our GMTK game from last year has the same issue. I guess we didn't learn much from our mistakes, lol.
But just so you know, we're currently working on fixing it, as well as adding more goals to the game.
Yeah no worries at all! As mentioned its just the first one so its smooth as for any fire blasts, not that big of a deal, looking forward to playing it again with more goals! <3

Thank you! I'm really happy with how the animation turned out. The game's story was inspired by Over the Garden Wall, a miniseries that I really recommend.
I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't manage to add sound effects and music in time, they would have enhanced the experience 100%. But, we are still working on this project, and once the Jam is over, we'll definitely release an updated version!
