How does your game fit the theme?
There is a countdown hanging over the player's head throughout play. Additionally, the main mechanic of the game, the fireworks, have a set duration before flying off neccessitating the play keep track of their own countdown to play optimally

I cleared your game! I liked the concept of spreading joy instead of killing enemies 👍
Scaling for the screens were a bit broken (another commenter thought it was just them, but I had this issue too), and, although you warned about the lag in the game description, it still made too much of a difference for me to enjoy the game the way you may have intended it. From what I was able to play, I think this is a cool concept, scaring characters with fireworks. It is very arcade-like and I would like to come back to this once the main bugs have been fixed!

idk why but the scaling was all off. i think it was just me tho. loved the game!
This was an interesting game and I can see it becoming something fantastic. I feel there are positives and negatives to the randomness, one the one hand it makes trying to wait for the right moment to lanch interesting but also you can't actually stratigise about placement. It would be great if there were some ways you could corall the people in some ways like street blocks or something to limit their movement and allow you to be more deliberate about rocket placement. I only played a few levels so this may come later. The last thing that really bothered me is that the whole game is played iwth the mouse and only the mouse, so why do I have to press E to move to the next level? Why can't I click the box?
Well done on this, it's a great prototype and with some work this will become a great game.
That was pretty fun.
The delay made things interesting, although I admit that in the city level I gave up planning and just left it to luck/spamming because everyone was moving so fast.
A couple notes from me:
1) In the grass levels, I could actually place 4 fireworks, when the game said you are only supposed to be able to use 3.
2) I would suggest some slight rephrasing of the description of the game play. It wasn't clear to me that the fireworks shoot *up*, safely away from people on the ground. I thought "bring them joy" was sarcastic, and that we were just going to be shooting people with fireworks (which made me slightly uncomfortable to think about); but the actual gameplay isn't like that at all.
Oh, and do you know why it lags on the first shot of fireworks?
All the assets should be loaded when the game starts, so there should be a need to download extra stuff.
It's all smooth after that, so it's not that there is something wrong with the fireworks themselves.
I can't figure out why it happens.
It's probably loading in a load bearing script and assets for the first time or something. I dunno man, the code for this project is a mess
Hahaha, fair enough.
This concept is rather fun. The visual and audio feedback is satisfying.
One thing I would note is that the gameplay feels a little repetitive towards the end and there were not really too many ways you can strategize around your placement other than just putting them in somewhere with a crowd.
I like it! its a fun concept! though the audio over lapping can become very load
This was really fun.
The core gameplay loop is really interesting and it's difficulty is managed well as well. There is a bit of a lag initially but after that it works fine.
I really like both levels and the addition of dogs and cars. Those could probably be expanded upon, like adding traffic lights and stuff like that.
The sound effects fit nicely as well.
The artstyle is really good and the VFX are also done nicely.
Overall it is a neat short little game which can be really fun and the idea could likely be expanded upon. (Super rockets and shops and stuff)
Fun idea! You were right, the game did lag at first. I would suggest setting a shorter duration on the fireworks going off because I did find myself waiting trying to understand when the fireworks would go off.
