Your art style is really cute! One thing I’d recommend improving in the future is the sprite layering, but honestly, you’ve already done a great job! Keep it up!

there were some moments where something happened and I wasn't really sure what, like in level 2 I bumped into some NPC and it made a noise, but I wasn't sure if it did anything.

we wanted to implement a notification system that would alert you when an enemy stole a souvenir, or in your case, time, but we kind of ran out of that ourselves lol

As for the routes and npc's - we had a few ideas like a tutorial and minimap but ran into other more important problems. An update for those, and some smaller issues, should be up soon after we catch up on sleep. And maybe more cute art too ;)
