i think its really impressive you set up a metriodvania in 4 days! the art design is also extremely strong to boot!

i think making it a browser game wasn't the greatest idea as with its size it takes a bit to run, which in turn sours the gameplay a little

overall, impressive work!

Really nice gameplay and art, but the art is kind of inconsistent sometimes.

I liked the music! It felt exactly right for the game, and the sunlight rays were great :D Cool choice to go for a metroidvania in such a short game jam time!

The main character is cute, and well animated! The metal texture was nice and it was set up with a normal map to which is cool, though it read more like rock than 'wrought iron and wretched steel' . The grass texture was *super* hard to see in the dark areas, I thought that the final room with the water didn't have any platforms at first!

The player controller was nice, I liked the super jump. Being able to hold crouch and jump at the same time to jump when you finish charging felt good. Crouching and un-crouching was quite slow, but didn't feel too bad. The ending was very cute!

Style is super cool! Not into the metroidvania much, but wanted to try it out a bit cause the image spoke to me. Only concern, the first time I opened it it froze my entire browser, even other pages, and the same happened the first time I died, didn't understand I died and closed it. Gave it another try and it went better, so it's probably just vfx or shaders loading, but it almost made me not play it seen how hard it killed my browser for a couple of secs :o

Dude! I can't imagine making a whole metroidvainia in 4 days, but you nailed it! Good level design, every upgrade felt important, and that boss was a good challenge! And I loved the sprite work as well. Incredible job! And the cut scene at the end was really fun! This game should definitely have more recognition than it has.

Amazing Game! It was a little laggy, but it was still playable. Had lots of fun exploring. The room where the water rises was very challenging, but I still beat it. The ending was pretty funny too.

A cute platformer. I liked the idea of a robot needing to keep plants alive, and the final room was a fun little challenge.
