This is a very cute little game. I think the lack of player control (or even player planning) is its weakest point: if the player could choose between upgrades, and get a heads up on what downgrade they are going to get when the timer runs out, I think it would play a lot better. But I enjoyed it a lot! It's well-made and I love the art style.
(Linux build works on my system!)
Bilematic dev here, Linux build runs on my system!!!
The game is so cute I love the sprites especially the carboard cutout enemies. And I love that the game is only 2 MBs. I have just 3 minor complaints. The borders of the room where player can walk is invisible so it feels a bit unfair to get stuck there and get hit. ESC closes the game instead of pausing it, so i lost my 640 seconds run while trying to screenshot. And you can't really kill enemies as fast as they spawn so you die of overcrowded enemies later no matter what. But these are like whateveeeer it's a jam game we had only 4 daysss
Esc closing window is by default in the raylib library unfortunately :| Also, yeah 4 days is quite a small time frame to make a game, especially if you are not using a game engine :p
Unfortunately the linux build doesn't run on my system:
>
./STAGE_FRIGHT: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.43' not found (required by ./STAGE_FRIGHT)
If I boot into windows I'll give that a look :)
pretty fun, wish you could get attack buff tho
didn't have the time to implement ._. Thanks for trying out my game!
