I'm sure the Germans or Japanese have a word that perfectly describes how this game made me feel....
Complex bittersweet?
Awesome jam entry :)

How does your game fit the theme?
Grandma has a limited number of words left, counting down with every sentence. Yet, to bring her fading memories back, you must keep talking and finding the right words to connect with her.

Dang grandma has some trauma 😔It seems like the correct answer was always the bottom one for me (?), so I think changing that up would make the gameplay more interesting. The concept of the number of words she says being a countdown is sooo smart! I love these story type of games so I'd definitely play a full version :)
Thanks for playing! I think there may have been a small misunderstanding. Each object has only 2 correct questions out of 10, and those are always the top option. The bottom option is just small talk, which is the safe choice when you're not sure if the top question is correct (because it uses fewer words). To get the true ending, you need to find and choose all of the correct questions.
Thank you for this story. If I may ask, is there a good ending?
I followed your instructions to zoom in, it mostly worked and was able to play through!
It’s such a sad and relatable story. It becomes tedious to small talk over time, but that’s also how it can feel in real life. It could have been interesting to have a little more variety in the answers because some of them were obviously so wrong to say. Some were interesting because they didn’t seem too bad, but you learn new context in the answer which makes you learn about her life.
You really managed to convey a lot of emotions with a little, which is impressive for a jam. The bad ending is especially sad. Great job, I really appreciate seeing more serious games!
🚨 Urgent Notice:
Due to a Unity UI scaling issue, fullscreen mode doesn't work properly and parts of the screen get cut off on monitors with a resolution lower than 2560x1440.
Therefore, if you are using a 1920x1080 (FHD) or lower monitor, please do NOT use fullscreen. Instead, just like @toadmaster3 did, please zoom IN your web browser to about 200%~250% (by pressing Ctrl + + or scroll). This will allow you to see the dialogue box and choices normally!
If the Reset button, Settings button, or the Retry button at the ending are still hidden, please try zooming in a bit more.
I deeply apologize for the inconvenience!
Like the others, I couldn't play this game properly because of some sizing issues, and it seems I wasn't able to enter full screen mode. I had to zoom into 200% on my browser and scroll the browser window back and forth to see certain parts of the screen during runtime. However upon doing this, I definitely enjoyed the narrative you created, and had a few chuckles while purposefully getting to the bad ending. Overall good job, and fun idea! I'm sure you've learned your lesson about the sizing going forward haha
Seem to have some issues with the size of the game, as did @Fokos001:

But I think the premise is really neat.
Text didn't fit on my screen. The first few lines were cut off. But the story seamed interesting.
