How does your game fit the theme?
We used the theme to inform our main navigation mechanic (hold the key for an amount of time and move after releasing, and how long you hold affects how fast you'll move). As well as the main game objective, of collecting a certain amount of objects in the map before a timer runs out.

Charging each movement before launching is a really interesting flight mechanic, and collecting everything against the timer felt exciting. The controls were weird for me at first and I accidentally held space too long a few times. Once I understood the rhythm, it was satisfying to fly.

I am glad you enjoyed it! Ideally we wanted to have better charging feedback to help out with the readability of it (animations or FX of some kind, also sound). In the last 2 hours I put the whole UI in, but sadly I think I missed a bit of logic to have the charging UI part working, which was the only solution I found that was doable on time LOL.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING, WE APPRECIATE THE COMMENTS A LOT!!

The flight controls were weird at first, but once I stopped accidentally holding space bar I managed to beat it. Cool idea, I do wish I could invert the pitch though.

I wanted to add that option but there was no time HAHA, I'm glad you managed to finish it. Ideally there would be a better crafted start to the level to help understand the thruster charge and launch mechanic, but also no time.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING!!

On a bépo keyboard, I cannot play the game, the keys are not placed logically. For future game, prefer to use physical key position, not their code. Would be the same for AZERTY (french keyboard) and maybe others.

Did not rate the game because the error is classic and I should not punish for that, I mostly informing for the future.

Oh amazing point, I had just learned the UE5 input action system and in the input mapping I just saw raw keys to assign as options so I set them up by just pressing the intended key. Big apologies for this, I'll look up how to go for the physical key position or at least alternate mappings for diff keyboard layouts

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TRYING IT OUT EVEN IF IT WASN'T PLAYABLE!!
