Fun but frustrating when i didnt know what i was looking at, but solid gameplay. You could take that further.

Developer

I definitely plan too (well hopefully xd). Looking back, I really overscoped, trying to make a genre i had no experience working with. Mechanics could be also introduced a lot better. Thank you for taking your time to play through the game, even though it wasn't perfect!

Good game with enjoyable gameplay

Developer

Thank you! Hoping to expand on the idea and hopefully make it less frustrating to get used to the controls, but glad you enjoyed it regardless!

Since my partner is likely getting some well-deserved sleep, I need to explain a few things about the controls:

1) You can hold the dash button; doing so in mid-air slows you down and allows for a more precise dash.

2) After dashing on a platform, it’s best to jump; this provides an extra speed boost.

Sorry i slept through you sending the newer build to me, only saw it in the morning when i woke up xd

also a slight correction, jumping after dashing does NOT increase speed, jumps only visually offset the player's Y position, making it seem as though you're traveling farther
