really dig the graphic style here, it's very unique and makes for a great looking game. i found it tough to line up the jump on cogs correctly sometimes, but i had a lot of fun with this overall

thank you!! yeah, the cog physics were a bit janky, sorry about that

I really like the music, thought it was just going to be a simple wee tune. I think the cog/wheel launch thing is a bit too hard to use, it feels like you've got to hit it exactly right but its hard to manoeuvre into those positions, especially if you're jumping from one to the other.

The launch mechanic is pretty fun, but the precision required is a bit too much. Perhaps the gears can be a bit bigger so it is easier to hit the side you want to hit?

no way our games had the same names!!! epic!! also yeah, the physics were a bit off, sorry

Developer

i would like to apologize as the game is broken halfway through!

A lot of good things here. Difficult but fair platformer. I never felt like I was dying to bad hitboxes, but instead to my own lack of skill.  The gears, while confusing how they launched, were consistent in a way you could get used to. The controls on the player feel a bit stiff, due to turning fast but accelerating slow. Also I don't know if I completed the game, as I walked off the screen where you'd typically proceed to the next level, and... nothing happened? Fairly fun game even if my experience may have been a bit buggy.

That's a clever way to use the coutndown as timer but also as obstacle!

The music is getting too much repetitive.

Maybe the 3 times clock could be used inside one level to force the player to complete it in a short time. Or use it as "stars", people may want to finish all levels before one tick.

The level with the gear propulsing you in a plateform is a bit hard, it may be interesting to have a second option more easier but longer, the first one would be use for speedrunning.

Keep going!
