Hey narnianguy! I just played through A Brief Plunder and I wanted to reach out because the stretch-hose physics mechanic is absolutely fantastic. Watching the cord dynamically bend around dark corners to guide you back creates such a unique, satisfying gameplay loop that carries a ton of potential.

I saw in the comments that a kind review made your day, and it’s completely well-deserved! The opening cutscene and the little atmospheric details show a ton of care. Gimmicks like the hose physics are great for short-form video algorithms (TikTok/YouTube Shorts) because they are so visually compelling to watch in a quick loop.

I run Parody Boat Media, an independent micro-publishing studio focused on viral short-form marketing and community building. I’d love to partner with you to help expand this prototype into a larger, fully polished Steam project managing the marketing, trailers, and Discord setup for a future revenue share so you can focus 100% on the design and programming.

Let me know if you have a Discord handle or an email I’d love to connect and hear what your plans are for this project!

Nice game, loved exploring with the limited light and finding the chests. Seeing the hose bend around corners was great!

Would be awesome if you gave my game a rate as well

I see you, stretch-hose physics. Absolutely loved the focus on the cord, and watching it nicely bend around corners and guide me back. The turbo button was also really appreciated.

The opening cutscene and lots of the little details and care into the effects is well-received!
