this game was so fire it baked every potato within a 3 mile radius of me opening the game. every microwave simultaneiously turned on and every potato jumped in and got nuked on the "popcorn" setting. however the potatoes would have been happier i think if they had some rad disco music to dance to inside the spinning microwave plate. one day we will all be as baked as that baked potato discoing on the floor of doom. amazing game.

This is a really fun concept. It did get pretty hard at some point and I coulnd't make it past level 7 unfortunately :( Love the idea tho.

Very creative, both in overall idea and in the use of the mechanics. It's fairly challenging but did not get frustrating, and has a lot of levels for a jam game. I think a bit more consistency with the keys to stop the timers would have gone a long way, maybe 1 is always red, 2 is always yellow etc, since I found myself having to look over to the corner a lot which made focusing on planning and dodging a lot harder.

This idea is so cool! Did you make this with raylib? The font looks the same.

Thanks! Raylib, exactly! It’s my first game in C++, and honestly, I enjoyed the development much more than with other engines I’ve tried. The source code is open on https://github.com/Asapros/gmtk-2026

it's a pretty fun game and I tried a few times but didn't make it to the end. I do wish it was easier to see when the grates will light up, like a visual indicator or progress bar without having to parse the timer.

Super fun!
