How does your game fit the theme?
Two countdowns run at once, and they pull against each other. Each patient has a clock. Let it reach zero and they die on your table. You have a clock too, nine patients, and then the wasting sickness takes you. Every second you spend saving them is a second you don't spend saving yourself, and every test you buy is money that doesn't go toward your own cure. The countdown isn't a timer sitting next to the game. It's the thing you're choosing how to spend.

It took me a little while to understand how it worked, at first. The atmosphere you built with the art direction and simple heartbeat in the background felt really well-suited for your theme!

I have no idea what I'm doing, and they die as I'm exploring the menus.
