Well done on the game! Surprising how many spells and boss moves you managed to add to the game in such short amount of time!!

very cool game! the vfx really stood out here, they were amazing. im also developing a game from this perspective, so i know just how difficult some of those mustve been to get looking good, really stellar work!

gameplay was really fun too, each spell was very unique, and the parry was satisfying to pull off :)

the only thing i wouldve liked was a boss health bar or some more indication on the boss' hp other than just the phase theyre in.

would absolutely love a post-jam version!

A really interesting take on the theme! I like that you don't get to control the spells but rather switches after using it all. The controls feel nice and I don't think I've ever seen this camera perspective in a game before too?

The gameplay is quite fun, since each spell is unique, there's always a different strategy when using a certain spell, it spices up the gameplay a lot and prevents it from being stale. Dodging attacks is also fine.. except for the attack where the boss (enemy?) goes into the middle and shoots a circle of projectiles. It seemed impossible to dodge? No matter what I did I would always get hit by those projectiles and I don't see any "safe zones" too.

Still I really like the concept and the camera is really cool!

yes, there is a parry mechanic tied to space bar, but sadly i didnt have time to get a tutorial working. Thanks for the kind words!

great game. I don't think I have seen anything with this cool visual style. the players hair in particular is very eye-catching, switching between spells feels very fun and rotating through them randomly is a great way of keeping the gameplay fresh. what I like the most is how unique each spell is, making a variety of attacks all feel the same is an easy pitfall so I am always excited when somebody avoids it.
