Thank you so much!

The animations on the bat movement are crisp! Nice work! I really like how the game play feels too, kind of felt like a rhythm game

Developer

We actually considered a rhythm game but decided against it, so that's a fun coincidence!

Submitted(+2)

The moment I saw a bat I knew I had to play it, I love the art and the concept. Levels are fun and you can cheese them if you abuse the controls. Only thing I didn't like is that in the last one I die because of a bug, I recorded it. I just wanted to skip that part xD. I'm sure that level is doable much faster than I did but using that skip

Developer

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'll take a look at that bug after the jam!

I'm always a sucker (ha, no pun intended) for a platformer, so I had such a fun time playing! The jump animation was so smooth omg, great job!

Developer

So glad to hear it! Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+2)

loved the game, the artwork and idea was very nice- we also used a count doun charcter for our narrative, go check it out!

Developer

Glad to hear it! I'll give your game a look next time I'm on pc lol

Submitted(+3)

Really liked the way you used the theme, a limited number of moves that count down. Also our game also had the idea to have a count down vampire character lol. Great game!

Developer(+1)

Great minds think alike :D

Developer

So glad to hear it, thanks for playing!

Fun game and love Count Downe's design. I saw a couple of platformers that played around with the limited use of actions idea, but this is the first one where you don't control the movement, and that works surprisingly well with the concept! Wish there was like a star or scoring system to reward beating levels with fewer moves :)

Developer (1 edit) (+2)

We did think of adding that funnily enough! Unfortunately ,due to the nature of gamejams, we didnt have enough time to really work on it so it never went anywhere. Maybe if we feel motivated we can add that later on lol.

Developer(+1)

as Cygnus said, definitely one of our goals if we develop it in the future! For now we mostly have time as a scoring tool because it doesn't require a new system and a bunch of testing lol

Developer

ME TOO

i enjoyed it! love the art and movement mechanics. Portogonist is so cute UwU

Developer(+1)

I'm so happy to hear that, and only like a third as much so as our animator

Submitted(+1)

i love the artwork, but the 3 second countdown gets a bit annoying, otherwise i think its an amazing game

Developer

Good to hear! I'll look into adding a way to skip the countdown post-gamejam

Submitted(+1)

Really nice game, good job!!

Developer

Thank you!

Submitted(+3)

I appreciate that there isn't only one route to take, so that even if I miss a jump and bounce off the wall, I can keep going.

Developer

Glad to hear it!!

Limiting the player to a maximum of three moves is a great game design concept! The art style is really cute, and I felt like there was a lot of speedrunning strats by finding better routes through the levels.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I've been SO surprised by how into speedrunning people have got lol, it's a nice surprise
