Its really great that you managed to finish your first game jam! (This was also my first and its not easy). Unfortunately I havent really been able to figure out how to play. I think a more clear tutorial is needed. Just not really sure what the numbers on the tiles mean or how to tell what the correct path is. But the music is nice, the dancing animations are fun, the theme is a creative take on the prompt so lots of good stuff, congrats!

I hope y'all commenting realise just how giddy I feel hearing all this feedback; it's genuinely so useful, and it's quite encouraging to know the sentiment is generally positive outside of some common pain points. Thank you all very much 🙂‍↕️

The game seems really fun and the sound design is good, really hard to figure the hot tiles

Was a bit difficult figuring out the rules, but a nice take. Really nice music and animations

I managed to play a full turn without burning, once! But not again haha. I think the biggest challenge right now is that it’s unclear which tiles are hot and which aren’t! Once that is fixed it will be much more doable to finish levels!

Great work on the animation and audio! The movement/animation on each beat is satisfying and the multiple different death animation is too!

Seems like a fun idea behind it. I couldn't tell which ones are hot tiles and which ones are safe tiles though. Needs some more explanation as to what the numbers on the tiles stand for and when one is safe and when one is not.

Thank you, that's very helpful feedback. I had temporary visual effects made for indicating which tiles are hot initially, but when i finally got round to wiring up animations rather than using flat geometry i forgot to update the vfx with them 😬
