How does your game fit the theme?
Every match is a race to make your opponent’s timer reach zero before yours does. You can play legitimate chess moves or use distractions, traps, dialogue, and cheating tools to waste their time and accelerate the countdown.

Really cool game, very interesting idea, I really like the art and sounds aswell. I didn't really like that I was just thrown into a position of a match though, it was also really easy sometimes, Satan blundered his queen almost immediatley, apart from that I really like it. The Level with the Pigeon was also a really fun concept, I really liked it, but maybe adding something like the knight being thrown differently (sort of like the way it moves in game) would be fun for that level.

great presentation, the art, story and music is very cute. I think to make the cheat mechanics matter more you should put the player into more disadvantageous positions.

As a intermediate chess player myself, I didn't even need to touch the cheats in this one, but the story, the art and the sound effects all made for a really game.

Very fun idea and it was all very polished. I like playing chess in general so it was fun to play, but I'm not sure the gimmick worked super well since all the positions were very winnable normally, especially since I don't think the bot was super good, but I wouldn't expect that anyway from a game jam game. But I really liked the idea for it, running your opponent's clock is a great idea to fit the theme, it's just I had more fun just playing chess than using the cheating mechanics. Good job overall.
