How does your game fit the theme?
The game fits the Count Down theme in two ways. The first is through the memorisation gameplay, where you have to count and keep track of the order the animals appear in. The second is the main twist: during the night, the sequence has to be selected backwards, essentially making you “count down” through the order instead of counting up. The name Memcounter is also a play on this idea, combining memorisation with counting.

Super cute memory game! Maybe throw in some SFX(like animals barks) when you selected may make it easier to tell you actually selected it, and feels way smoother lol :D
Nice idea with the switching of the animals - cool lil game
Nice game :D
Very cute, love it!
You landed on an impressively simple idea that still fits the theme well. A great jam idea really
I really like the concept of having to input the animals backwards! Makes that first animal you see way tougher to remember
Pretty simple and nice art style.
Simple idea which already snaps your attention. I find it super difficult as when some similar games build longer and longer chains based on old chain info this takes always new set to remember which is a not easy one to chew. Cool art style also!
Cool! I like the art style and its simplicity and turning the memorisation backwards seems like only a little change to most other memory games at first but actually makes a big difference and is even more challenging. Nice work!
