A wonderful twist on the usual tower-defence rules (and on the game theme also)
Only real nitpick would be not seeing turret range before placing I guess; not realising I could upgrade them was more on me being unobservant.

(also had an odd bug later where it kept sending multiple waves at once. But think that's my fault for spamming the next-wave button to much to throw the run on that stage
EDIT: seems to trigger when speeding up on the last stage. Came back and beat it this time~ )

Max Level Heat Turret my beloved 😍

Brilliant idea, counters my top issue with the tower defence genre that you can just spam turrets near the start to make a killing field. The two annoyances I encountered during the game were:

  • Couldn't see what the range of a turret was when I placed it (resulting in some suboptimal turret placements. Would be cool if you could see the ranges by level when you place a turret, since I'm pretty sure the higher level Spread turrets are most effective placed further back from the track than the level 1 version can hit.
  • Need some preparation time before the first wave - several times on the final stage I lost immediately due to an alarm clock spawning and then instantly blowing up

Also the Heat Turrets can end up sychronising up and becoming less effective, but this encourages deeper strategies like mixing turret levels and types so I don't think this is a bad thing.

This was a creative take on the tower defense genre! I liked the different types of timer enemies and the art work is amazing. It was pretty satisfying seeing the units bring the timers back up to full. I also appreciated the priority system that the units had. Great job!

;) Glad you liked it.

loved the game , the theme implementation is excellent ,the only thing that the gapme needs is a little bit of balancing like buffing the shotgun , other than that well done !!!!!

Developer

Thank you, I will look forward to more playtesting next time. ;)

At  first I thought it wasn't much of a twist, but by the second level you see that keeping the ennemies alive all along the path changes a lot how and where you put the turrets, nicely done!

Developer

Thank you so much :), Appreciate you playing the game.

Love a tower defence game! This was a really neat take on it, something about letting units get to the other side felt wrong though haha.  Not much to complain about really, I felt the shotgun turret was a little lackluster for the price but all around I had a good time figuring out better turret placements and upgrade orders. Stopping things exploding on the same tile was a nice way to measure HP too. Great work!

Developer

Thank you, Love the honest review. ;)

Love it, really creative idea on the theme. Heat turret could use a nerf, found myself just spamming heat and winning

Developer

Appreciate it, the game needed a bit more balancing and play testing. ;
