Nice art! It was a bit difficult to move in the beginning, but I got the hang of it. Nice game!
Thank you! My artist is talented.
Really cute art, and I felt bad whenever I let the little clown down! The normal mode stayed a bit easy for me, but I was glad there was a harder option. A short dash would also help with those moments when you’re stuck on the wrong side of the screen.
Yeah, I ran out of time to add that feature. Thanks!
5:57 on normal :)
This game was a lot of fun! It reminds me of some mobile games I used to play growing up. The artwork was great and the audience dwindling and growing in the background as time went on was a nice touch. I will say that being able to grow your audience back is nice, but makes the game last really long because the difficulty doesn't scale fast enough as time goes on. Though it could just be my experience or the difficulty I played on. Otherwise, nicely done!
Thank you! I struggled to get the difficulty just right in time, so I implemented multiple modes.
Very cute artwork, didn't wanna let the little clown down :D I kept playing the normal mode for about 6 minutes but it never seemed to get much harder, luckily you put a harder mode in the menu! I will say it'd have been nice for some sort of brief sprint or dash on a cooldown. sometimes I found myself on the opposite side of the screen with no chance of gettin back to the other side and it was a little deflating.
The extra abilities from different falling objects were a nice touch, and kept things interesting. I especially liked the bumpers that stopped me working as hard haha. Great job!
I tried with the difficulty scaling but I couldn't perfect it by the time the jam was over. Thanks you!
This is a sweet and simple concept with great art!
I struggled a bit with the controls until I figured out I had to click left/right of the screen and not left/right of the clown for movement. Much easier after that :P
You're actually meant to use left/right arrow keys or a/d to move, the mouse input is just for mobile. Thanks!
This is a super charming game. Very simple but polished and well made. The audience leaving as a visual indication of the score was also neat from a game design perspective. Some more mechanical depth would’ve been cool, but otherwise great job.
Thanks, I spent more time polishing than making the game lol.
Fun implementation of the countdown! The artwork OrangeBagel made is very cool <3 I love this silly clown
Thanks, my artist is extremely talented.
Really like the concept, definitely a creative use of the theme
This absolutely has great mobile game potential
Yes, I added mobile support, but the controls weren't very good. Thank you!
I’m an absolute huge fan of this game’s art style. The level of polish for a 4-day jam was super impressive. I especially liked the idea of the audience leaving. This incorporated the theme of counting down the audience members alongside the countdown numbers, and I think that was smart. Great job and well done!
Thanks, my artist is super talented. I spent like 5 hours one night until 3 AM working on the audience, I'm glad you liked it!
cool game, got 6:55 on hardcore
Nice, that's a great score, good job! Thanks!
the ultra-rare portrait orientation aspect! fun game!
Yeah, I went for that so that you would have a warning for when the numbers came down, and so you could travel the full width easily. Thanks!
Very fun! The art was nice and all of the different number types add some nice variety to the game. The only thing that made it feel sort of unfair at times was when it is physically impossible for you to catch two numbers at once. The hardcore mode was probably my favourite out of all of them (Best score there was 6:54)
Yeah, it can feel unfair. But that's a really good score! Thanks!
Fun to play! The physics of the bounce was really cool and presentation was good. I would recommend to make the clown more responsive or add maybe a dash with a cooldown to allow for last second saves and avoid the frustration of knowing you can't make it to the other side of the map, while still trying. All in all, well done!
Thanks, I haven't really worked with physics very much so that's great to hear.
This was really good! although a bit repetitive, I suggest more interactive things to do in the game so it is more interesting, maybe power-ups? or more varied number
Thank you! It was difficult to make it less repetitive, so I just added those other two game modes to solve that
