Wow I adored the art and presentation in this. Not many game jams can boast a bonafide title sequence.
The point and click adventure style is quite fun and the cheesy 50s dialogue even more, even if I wish were there were more puzzles to the game. I guess there's always room for a post-jam update ;P
Also bonus point for excellent choice of text SFX.
thank you!!i really enjoyed leaning into the cheesy elements and i'm glad it was enjoyable for a player too!!! the text SFX was all @curroscube! she was in her room at 4am finding stuff (mainly a tapedeck) to recreate a typewriter sound with haha!!!

fantastic game!!! the art is amazing, presentation overall fantastic! i like where the narrative went and i enjoyed the character dialogue. point and click elements were fun, and im just sad it ended so fast.

The art is really pretty! I was not expecting such a detailed intro. I love the visual novel feel of it too. I only wish there was more story and gameplay, but of course this is great given that you only had 4 days to do it. Nice work ^^

Saw this in the discord and had to try it. Love the illustration style, and love using the urgency of hiding a body as the countdown, and the story + gameplay loop left me wanting to play out a whole movie worth of this game, feel like I started getting really into it by the end. Limitations of the jam of course. Also, appreciate the instructions for Mac, def wouldn't have been able to figure that out haha
