How does your game fit the theme?
Holy Sheet!!! is countdowns all the way down. Every document is on its own timer - too slow, and it counts against you. Every shift runs on the office clock: 30 to 90 seconds until you collapse face-first into the paperwork. Your alertness is a countdown to falling asleep, and blinking or coffee only buys you time - while the coffee cooldown itself ticks away. Even answering the phone starts a timer you'll pay for.

Although this gameplay isn't anything new, this is the first time I've seen a blinking mechanic with it! Alongside all the timers, it really makes for a more involved experience. Kind of felt like I was working under the pressure of a manager watching me ahaha. I think with a bit more balancing, you could really find yourself getting in the rhythm of things! Especially if blinking could be more important gameplay wise :))

It took me a while to realize that there's no need to read the documents because the mistakes are always in red (RIP colorblind players). I had a lot of fun with this one! I noticed that for most of the game, you can pretty easily get all your work done without ever blinking or touching your coffee, but in the last level, that tactic bit me in the butt when I had to sort a few documents in pitch darkness, lol. I love the Mayor Knuckles voice clip that plays when you get a perfect score! XD

Really neat!! Love the blinking mechanic, never seen that in jam before. Great job, the company thanks you!

I really like how you use the tight timer and colours on the text to enable a unique kind of experience of frantically assessing paperwork – taking shortcuts instead of careful reviews :). I would love to have some audio on the countdown since my eyes are already way too occupied. There is also good feedback on how you did, but not on how well you should do. I like the hands-on tutorial. Overall, nicely done :)!

Very stressful but very fun ^^ sometimes I just clicked accept or decline because i couldn’t figure it out fast enough and was correct surprisingly often ^^” I did notice the colors a bit later though which helped ^^”

Pretty unique take on the theme. I agree with the other comment that maybe you shouldn’t have color coded the text. Very charming game anyhow; the visuals are great and the concept is explored pretty well I think. Only gripe is that the background music was a bit too repetitive and was annoying after a while. Other than that, nicely done!

The concept is very original, and I really like the visuals ! However, the fact you can just look at the colors makes almost all mechanics irrelevant x) You don't even have to blink haha

Congrats still !

Glory to Arstotzka HR

Racing against your own fatigue is a cool concept. Once I figured out you didn't actually have to read anything and you could just look at the colours I was in a pure flow state. Nicely done!

This game is so annoying and unfair, I can barely see anything through the constant blur, and the only way to get rid of said blur is to give the screen an even worse filter, the timers are absurdly short and coffee doesn't help much, if at all. You could use this "game" as an actual torture device.

10/10 good papers please clone

Very nice idea for the jam!

When reading through the tutorial I was wondering how the blinking was going to be useful and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the vision gets blurry with time and you do have to blink to clear it up!

Hey this is super cool! almost gives me papers please vibes but on a severe time crunch. I had a lot of fun playing the game!

An excellent game! The quick pace really made me feel like the clock was ticking down! Getting into a flow state with the documents was super satisfying, and there's nothing like getting a call from my wife and completely ignoring it XD The note from HR in the description is one of the funniest things I've read so far this jam! Awesome work!

The idea for the theme is really fun, and a great twist on games like Papers Please or Not Tonight. The colors on the paper and the note made it slightly easier to quickly decline, so because of that i think the timer is alright, but other than that the timer you have for each paper feels a bit too quick. No matter, i really liked it! Definitely worth working more on should you wish :D

But mabye start of slower on early levels and it get faster

Good game. But too stressful for me. Though executed much better than the other games with similar concept.

I found it very confusing at first to press A for (D)ecline and D for (A)ccept. But after a few and noticing that basically they were left or right, I stopped thinking about the word and got to work. I enjoyed it! When the boss is in front of you, it may be waaaay too fast. Good job!
