Nice work! My first time as well and it is hard. The results of your game is good. It all fits nicely - art, animations and sound on the levels. The controls might need a bit of tweaking to feel just right, but overall great job!

Honestly really solid platformer, especially for a first jam! My main feedback would be surrounding friction in gameplay: small smoothened additions such as a instant restart button and levels going to each other keeps the experience coherent. Reducing gameplay friction is just one of many things to juggle, but considering it can help you prioritize what features to work on during the tight timeline of a game jam. Hope that helps and I hope to see your second and subsequent games in the future!

i liked the simple platforming! it was hard to continue once you fall and it would have been nice to have the arrow keys as an option along with wasd. the music is great! :)

Cute art! a restart key would be nice and since its rolling, i expected a bit more fluid movement. also i think failing a jump is too punishing at times

I had fun. Movement is kinda floaty but that wasnt that bad for speedrunning. Quick restart hotkey would be great. Rolling animation is really cool
