Really interesting mechanic but boy oh boy did I have trouble with it. I could NOT get my hands to coordinate at all, which is embarassing coming from a piano player. I think I agree with one of the comments below that color coordinating the buttons may have helped because I could have relied on peripheral vision for one hand then, remember which "color" key to press next. GREAT concept though!
Really nice polish and cool music! I really like the core mechanic, having to balance both hands like your'e playing piano or drums. I think it's cool how you set up the first level to start relatively simple and over the course of the song gets more complicated, like a tutorial.
This is a nice rhythm game but I really feel like the keys should've been color coded or something as it was far too difficult to read the notes. The lack of feedback on the left side also made it hard to know if I was on beat or not but overall I liked the concept of needing to keep up with two "instruments".
It feels like I'm playing DBD and a rhythm game at the same time! Having the methods closer together or with very different keys would have helped with readability (JL are very similar in peripheral vision).
Very Unique game! Thanks for making it!
Well done for making a rhythm game with so little time! I found it extremely difficult, which might be a me problem - I LOVED that your score can go in the minus:
The game is fun, a little confusing to have 2 types of rhythmic games at the same time, but it’s cool having to do it with 2 hands. I will put out the keyboard that will be necessary before the game starts. Congrats on the submission.
This simulates the Guitar Hero drums experience where you have to be really coordinated with both hands! It was tricky and stretched my brain. My only hang up is for the left hand mechanic, there wasn't any feedback that I pressed the key on time (even though I did) that threw me off. I was also mixing up J's and L's because they practically look identical when you see them in your periphery haha. Still a unique challenging rhythm game!
