I want to thank everyone for all the positive feedback! We have been participating in these jams for years now and seeing the feedback improve each time really makes it all worth while. Yall are the MVPs.

Love, canti.

Really cool game. I could see myself sinking loads of time into this. Love the 90's styled pre-rendered artwork too

really cool endless runner!

A great spin on the endless runner.

I really like the artstyle and gameplay! This was a unique game, great job!

motorcycle shotgun punch-out-like! I like the reload having the player be at the middle position so you have to time your reloads as well (unless I've been playing the game wrong), gives a bit more challenge

Cool art style. really fun game, took me few tries to figure out how to play.

This was a lot of fun to play! I love the visuals, your art style is really unique and I think it found a great balance between humour and spooky vibes.

I think the feedback below on cornering is valid - it's a tricky one to nail down but it does feel a bit like it interrupts the pacing at present. That said, I really enjoyed the game and had a great time blasting dudes! Also loved the road names, a few of them gave me a good laugh!

Nice game. It reminds me of old PS games.

One suggestion, though: maybe add a tutorial section. It took me a few attempts to understand what was going on, and I eventually gave up and read the descriptions instead.

Also, turning seems to break me out of the flow state, especially when I encounter an enemy and need to turn afterward. The slow turning feels completely different from the normal movement, which makes it feel a bit awkward in my opinion.

Developer(+1)

Yea, i would've added a tutorial but ran out of time. The clunky turning was due to me not being able to figure out a better way to do turns in an infinite hallway. But valid criticism, thanks for your review :)

the game is quite very fun!! i like the style and the  blocking, the shooting feels a little weird sometimes but its nothing too serious, and the turning mechanic is very nice :3

Oh, there is  tutorial in the game description on the game page if thats what you mean. I ran out of time so i couldn't put it in the actual game..

An endless runner rhythm game is a really fun idea.

The rhythm part did feel a bit muddled since you had a pretty big window to react in. But even with that, the flow of dodge, attack, reload felt pretty great. I definitely wanted more.

It did take me a while to figure out how to reload since I didn't read the instructions in the description. I thought I had to dodge while they were going center, so I never just did nothing to get the reload. (But I also figured out that if you dodge endlessly you can get really high scores because the game doesn't speed up as quickly. I hit 400 before went back to the main page to figure out how to reload)

Oh god, he knows.

Yeah that was an oversight on our part. Glad you had fun :)

Very creative and enjoyable once you understand the mechanics

Overall, really cool game concept!

I really enjoyed driving down the halls on the bike while vibing to the soundtrack! My only suggestion would be is to make it so then the bike automaticlly doesn't switch back to the default state when blocking in different directions, as I would find myself blocking blocking in one direction only for it to switch back again without me knowing and either ending my run or giving me damage. Another suggestion I have is to make it so then you can press a button or something to reload as I kept finding myself instinctivley pressing W even when my ammo was empty lol.

Amazing game though, really enjoyed my time playing it! Hopefully the suggestions help a bit, even though they are more from me probaly just having a skill issue than anything actually wrong with the game lol. Overall really well done! Hoping your game gets some more recognition! <3

Thanks for the kind words :)

We hoped that doing nothing to reload would be harder than pressing a button, as we insticitvely push buttons when panicking.

Terminator meets Monty Python. Love the art and the banger soundtrack.

This game genuinely rocks, easily one of the most fun games I've played so far. Great work!

I really loved the artstyle, really unique!! I really liked the idea of the motorcycle and the gameplay is fun. But, like I said, the artstyle is your biggest strenght. Great job dude!
