I like the vibe, and can't resist a good first-person platformer!

That was really fun to play, l love the platformer + roguelike mixup! Would be really cool to see this game developed further

Game was pretty fun..parkour and collecting coins felt satisfying and crunchy...the artsyle also looked really cool...i wanna ask one thing was there a level select option?....

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! No I didn't make a level selector. That's a good idea!

A fun game that also has a fully functional menu?? Call me impressed!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I figured I would be the change I wanted to see in the world :)

A platform-speedrunning-collectaphon-roguelike? That is actually a surprisingly great combination. Feels kind of like you turned Neon White into a roguelike, and it just works.

I like that the upgrades feel strong and different, and the difficulty progression forces you to think about your choices. Cool idea that I think you should continue expanding on, with even more fun level design and different sets of levels.

Developer

Thank you for your generous comparison! I love Neon White. I think the level design was definitely the weakest area here, didn't spend enough time on it. I would love to expand the concept and spend more time thinking about some new level designs. I found myself wasting a lot of time playtesting this one lol

The overall pace of the game is quite tight, and the countdown creates a sense of urgency that keeps things moving forward quickly. Overall, it's very good. In my opinion, these coins should serve a purpose, such as buying power-ups or extending time. Additionally, I think the game could be improved by adding music and a start menu, which would make it more polished.

Thank you so much for your feedback and thanks for playing! Funny you should mention these things because there is a start menu and the coins collected in the level actually are what is used for upgrades and abilities. In retrospect, I definitely should have communicated that better in the level end screen. I usually make my own music for each game but ran out of time for this one.

You managed to build a freaking roguelike game in 4 days!!!! That's insane!! Loved the artstyle and the beach vibes. I felt the game was too difficult, but it was a much better experience after 4-5 tries. That's the nature of a roguelike game, which you nailed it! Congratulations already from my end :)

Please do try my short game and give me your opinions as well. I've built a game that i wanna grow and ship someday :)

P.S.: That Viking cheer when you end is chef's kiss!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm playing your game now :)

cool game concept! i think the difficulty spike was a little steep but maybe it was my skill issue, i only played until level 3 and i barely missed the portal when dashing towards it :'D

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the difficulty curve was a little aggressive for sure. I ended up making a rage game on accident I think :)
