How does your game fit the theme?
The main combat mechanic is moving on a grid to attack the enemies, each cell of the grid has a value and you can only move to cells with a lower value.

I really like the mechanic here, but I only figured out what the mechanic was because of the theme of the jam so it could benefit from more clear in-game explanation. The game itself I found enjoyable, but like another commenter I found it crashed on the floor 4 loading screen. I also found it fairly easy? But I loved the concept, the aesthetics were absolutely gorgeous, and I had a good time playing it!
Took me a while to figure out how it work, but it’s a neat concept. :D The text can be difficult at time to read (especially when it’s over a sprite), and there’s a lot of information on the screen, often in small case, so it’s a bit exhausting to play. But the puzzles it presents is interesting, it opens a lot of strategies. Admittedly I only tried 3 of all the characters, I don’t know if one has an ideal balance. Having that much choice at the start was a bit confusing (especially since a lot of characters’ perks are invisible and triggered automatically). But the game kept me hooked long enough. And despite making the screen hard to read, the TV filter give a strong identity to the the game’s visuals!
fantastic game mechanic and creative way to approach the theme
This is a really cool math game with TTRPG flavoring! Unfortunately ran into a bug that wouldn't let me progress pass the Floor 4 title screen. Great stuff :)
Very cool, looks like a DnD & Severance crossover. I wish I was better at math.
Love the aesthetic and the game has really made me realize how bad I am at counting down 😅
