This is a really cool entry! It's clear loads of love and effort went into making all this, and the result is impressive. I feel like it promises a bit more story than you had time to implement, and like lafferty mentions it's not wholly clear what the upgrades do (I'll be honest, I'm not even sure about the armory?) But I had a lot of fun with it anyway!

Thank you so much! The account I'm writing now is my personal one. This game was made together with three other friends, and our plan after the game jam is to keep working on it, polish it, finish it and hopefully release it someday!

Really Fun Entry !  The game design is deceptively engaging, and the art and style fit the vibe perfectly. Fantastic effort for a jam build! I’ve submitted a game to the jam as well! Feel free to check it out whenever you get a chance.

Thank you very much. I'll definitely check out your game.

Game was pretty good, I guess not a lot of people are playing downloadable games.

Developer

Thank you very much. I also think very few people are downloading games to play in this jam!

This was very fun. I think you're likely getting dinged from people looking at it because you bundled all of the executables into a single `.zip`.

I liked the style. The ship vs ground was a good little mechanic. I loved how the background of the ship got progressively more chaotic the further back in time you went.

I'm not at all sure what the upgrades are meant to do besides the armory. Once I unlocked the person in the room, I could just max the room without a second thought. I think with some resource tuning, variety, and a bit more RPG elements... this could be a pretty good game.

There was a bit too much text in the very beginning. I started to read it and then it just kept coming until it was a wall. I think spreading it out into smaller chunks would be helpful. I got just enough to understand "oh its outer wilds" and went from there :)

Did enjoy, linux build worked flawlessly.

Thank you, We really appreciate your opinion. This is our first game and our first game jam, so receiving feedback like this means a lot to us.

The upgrade system definitely wasn't explained very well, although the weapon upgrade is pretty self-explanatory.

The idea is that every time you return to the ship, you consume resources. The mechanic reduces the number of parts consumed each time you return, the cook reduces the amount of food consumed, and the medic increases the health of every NPC on the ship, since they have health and can eventually die from starvation.
