How does your game fit the theme?
THE COUNT DOWN. Time is the only resource. There is no health bar, no ammo, no lives: just one clock, always falling. Every bite you land pushes it back up, every hit you take knocks it down, and at zero the run ends. You are not racing a timer the game set for you. You are personally holding it up, one bite at a time. THE COUNT. You play the Count, the last vampire on Earth. The title is a bad pun in two languages: in French a "comte" is a count and a "compte" is a tally, so The Final Compte Down is both the countdown and the final tally. THE COUNT, GOING DOWN. Your score is not how many villagers you bit. It is how many vampires are still standing when the clock runs out. Hunters cut your horde down, so that number falls as easily as it rises, and a bigger horde draws hunters faster. The whole game is deciding when to let your count peak, because growing it is also what gets it killed. So the countdown is your life, the Count is you, and the count is your score. Take the countdown out and there is no game left.

At first glance this looks like a "bullet heaven" game, but I found it much more tactical and engaging. The contagion of vampirism spreading through the crowds makes for an interesting dynamic, and the different types of hunters keep things fresh. This is quite challenging; I played through it 4 times and never got past the Inquisitor stage.

The graphics are clear and the different units are distinct, but there's no environment or sense of place. The audio is serviceable (the SFX play when something significant happens!) but a bit of music would have made this more atmospheric.

Fun game! Idk if you can have more than 60 vampires but I managed to stay at that number for a couple of minutes. The sound effects pitching up with the combos were very juicy and it felt rewarding to corner a bunch of enemies and chain kill them. Good job!
