How does your game fit the theme?
The take on Count Down is to flip the card game genre on it head and require the player to protect your team for a certain amount of time instead of trying to kill a monster or boss.

You've got the bones of something interesting here. Was it intended that I can keep drawing cards indefinitely? I was able to repeatedly buff the soldier with strength and just defeat all enemies without taking any damage.

There is definitely a lot that we need to change. The balance is way off and we need to update some of the cards to better show what they do but the eventual goal will be for it to be almost impossible to defeat the enemies and the focus is to work on surviving instead.

I like the idea. I'm looking forward to seeing a more polished version

It's an interesting concept. The characters art and animation is nice, but I did run into some bugs that prevented progress. Would love to see it polished a bit further as it has some potential.

It's a very cool premise, and a creative interpretation of the theme. Sadly I ran into some bugs, which largely prevented my ability to play the game:

  • The game randomly went back to the start screen. Based on the description, I suppose it's because I survived enough turns to "win"? I would have loved to seen a win screen, if so. And a visible "countdown" to show how many turns I needed to survive.
  • At one point, the enemies stopped moving/attacking.
  • The solder char never got move cards, and the enemies got stuck, so I could never attack.
