How does your game fit the theme?
The entire game is built around a countdown time and a cooldown system. As time runs out and ability limited, your chance of escaping the Game Engine disappears, making every second count.

Hehe, didn't realize I could get so tense for the life of a blue cube, but here I am. Quite fun, and the lighting was very clean

Developer

thank you and I'm glad you have fun playing the blue cube

Fun experience! I managed to reach the end. The atmosphere is very apealing. I like the hidden traps you need to reveal with light. The gameplay could use a bit more polish, for example the movement felt a bit clunky at times. Overall I had a good time with this game though!

thank you, yes, I will polish it after the jam, btw I appreciate the feedback

i pressed L, and bright as angel's face light revealed all of my sins. now, i am very doubt that they will let me in...

Developer(+1)

thank you, your response is so hilarious, I need a friend like you HAHAHA

I like the idea of using a light to reveal the true objects of the level. The platforming felt a bit too jank for me. The wall sliding felt rough and wall jumping didn't feel intuitive. Having a level to ramp the player up to the platforming mechanics would help a ton

Developer

Thank you , I'll fix it after the jam hehe

Atmosphere on top! Great job! I had some problems with the jumps as well but I didn't see any more issues :)

Developer

Thank you I'm glad y'all like it

I like the idea of having a limited resource to reveal hidden traps, and inverting that expectation that some things are not traps at all. I think you did a good job of communicating that mechanic through the game.

The wall jump didn't feel very natural. I'd recommend increasing the tolerance for when the second jump needs to happen, and also reduce the speed of that platform (evidence, it's faster than even gravity XD).

Developer

thank you for that suggestion I'll take suggestion and fix it after the jam

The sound effects, light, traps and music really sets the mood. The sparse lights meant you had to be strategic about using it. Really cool! The only pointer i had was that the friction between the player and the platforms sometimes caused jumps to stop too early. Otherwise really cool!

Developer

thank you, yes, I forgot to turn back the double jump

Really immersive game ! The triple jump feels a little bit weird but nice job :)
