Pretty nice platformer. Some of the jumping felt a bit off, needs to be tightened up a bit, but it's got a good start. Could have been improved with some sound and music, just something so I can use it as a clue to when a brown platform is going to appear or disappear. It seems like the start of something interesting. Hope you continue with development with this after the game jam is over. Really lean in hard with the VHS theming.
was a bit too ambitious for my current skill level. I had a lot of ideas, but not enough experience yet to polish everything the way I wanted. I’ll definitely come back to this project after the game jam and keep improving it. Thanks again for taking the time to play it.
This was fun, once I realised the control scheme and goal (it could definitely do with some further instructions). I like the idea of limiting the platforms the player can place as it forces some thought and planning of the level.
