This mini story game is actually great. The lovely drawings are also great, and i really liked your art style, but sadly I end up on not knowing how to heat up the chicken, even though I did turn the temperature of the room where the microwave is located  into 169F. I really liked the story, and the game is brilliant, this is really nicely done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very muchh, glad you liked it!! Did you leave the chicken in the tray? After putting it down and turning the thing up, its just a matter of waiting :)

Very much like the concept of this! Making you have to decide on an already decreasing time limit I like a lot. Also the SUPERHOT style of time only moving when you do hits me the right way for sure. Cute artstyle as well. Good job!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you a lot William!! Our main inspiration for the time management was actually a different game, AI Somnium Files haha. But you're right SUPERHOT totally does that too!

unfortunately there are some bugs and I can't play.

But I love the idea! I love how you startet, the fire theme....

I'll add you to my collection and would be happy to play, after bugs were fixed.

Developer

For sure, thank you! Would you mind telling us which main bugs don't allow you to play? What device are you playing from?

Really Really cool. Unfortunately I did initially run into the naomi bug like many others. But otherwise this was really awesome. I love the typing random characters on the computer as fast as possible to finish your work.

Developer

Thanks a lot!! Glad you enjoyed it haha

It's a pretty good game, but there are a few bugs unfortunately, for example Naomi repeating the password dialogue and not taking her coffee. Good take on the theme!

Developer

Thank you very much! We'll post a bug-free update when the jam is over :)

really fun concept! The artstyle fits super well

unfortunately I couldn't finish it because every time I tried, Naomi would be stuck on the same "ask password" dialogue even when I already made her coffee, I'm not sure if I'm just missing something or not

But overall I can definitely see the effort that was put in, it's a really nice entry to the jam

Developer(+1)

Yeah, crossing Paul's and Naomi's story wasn't tested properly and lead to a lot of bugs, sorry about that. Glad you like the game anyways tho!

Simple but really fun narrative game, well done! Only small issue I had was that the music completely stopped when it restarted, but still really well done!!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, unfortunately a last minute fix made it so the losing screen crashed on startup, which skipped an ending cutscene and stopped the music. Glad you enjoyed the game anyways!

I'm not a native English speaker and it took more time for me to understand the game, but after overcoming the difficulty it's really fun and cute. It's unbelievable to make such a polished narrative puzzle in a gamejam, nice job! Love the music btw.

Developer(+1)

Haha thank you very much! :)
