It's a really creative idea with sand, and I'm glad I can push particles, as it helps a lot. The controller itself is good.

always a fan of a PICO-8 game. I liked the concept but like kastelle said, I wish there was some way to make it harder as time ticked by as it was too easy to manage the sand coming down. I thought the hourglass flipping animation was slick and the accompanying sound was nice too. All in all, a well-executed idea. nice work!

good concept, though tbh most of my time was spent waiting, a naturaly speeding up of sand falling could be fun but the points seem to just incentivise waiting and it's pretty easy not to die. i respect the creativity though!

This is brilliant! I love the hourglass rotation, and the opening story and art all work great!

Feels like a gameboy game of old :) Very cool idea, I was delighted to find out you can jump on the blocks while they’re falling. It would have been great if the X or O button would also do the jump action, since jumping with the cross can get awkward at times. Otherwise great game. Enjoyed it a lot!

Very cool idea, but unfortunately a little easy to abuse. I just waited until the sand was at ~25 and then just switched between levels as quickly as possible, which usually only took a couple of seconds. Gave up after a while because I didn't feel like the game increased in challenge, but I maybe I just didn't play long enough. I think if there was a bit more of a difficulty curve here, this could turn into a pretty cool game!

I’ll admit I never quite got the hang of the goal of the game (should I be trying to climb to the top as fast as possible, or let as much sand fall as I can first? Both seemed to get me points…), but I enjoyed what I played. My best score was 202, most of which was accrued through climbing to the top quickly when the bottom of the hourglass was full of sand. I would’ve kept going, but I slipped up and fell into a hole where I got crushed by sand… oh well.
